The embeded purpose of having students using foldables is a five prong goal planning framework:

Using foldables will:

1. Improve student achievement:

2. Help learner to make sense of information.

3. Help learning facilitators to chunk information.

4. Enhance student skill to construct mental models.

5 Foster learners motivation.
